Doc. RNDr. PhDr. Oldřich Hájek, Ph.D. Associate professor RNDr. PhDr. Oldřich Hájek, Ph.D. was awarded the degree of associate professor in the disciple of Regional and Social Development at the Faculty of Economics and Management of the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague. During his career, he worked in both the public and the private sectors. At the beginning of his professional life he was employed as an economic editor or a project manager. In the years 2007 – 2010 he was the head of the Sub-Department of Policies and Analyses at the Department of the Strategic Development of the Zlín Region. Since 2004 he has worked at the Department of Regional Development, Public Sector Administration and Law at the Faculty of Management and Economics of the Tomas Bata University in Zlín.
He guarantees the module European Union and EU funds within the Master of Public Administration programme which corresponds with the area of his long term research activities.

Doc. PhDr. Peter Horváth, PhD. Associate professor PhDr. Peter Horváth, PhD. was awarded the degree of associate professor at the Faculty of Art of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice in the field of Political Science. In his career, associate professor Horváth is a long term member of academic community with experience including holding academic offices such as vice-dean or vice-rector. Currently, he is the dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava.
He guarantees the modules Management and strategy in public administration institutions and Public administration and political science while using his experience from both professional and scientific achievements.

Associate professor Ing. Josef Kubík, CSc. Associate professor Ing. Josef Kubík, CSc. was awarded the degree of associate professor at the Faculty of Economics at VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava in the field of Management and entrepreneurship. In his professional life, associate professor Kubík worked in the private sector as an engineer – economist but since 1986 he has pursued career in higher education. Currently he works at the Department of management and marking of the Faculty of Management and Economics at the Tomas Bata University in Zlín.
He guarantees the module Management and crisis management while using his scientific experience gained when authoring more than 134 works he authored or co-authored and also his experience from teaching the university courses focused on management.

Associate professor Ing. Marie Paseková, Ph.D. Associate professor Ing. Marie Paseková, Ph.D. was awarded the degree of associate professor in the field of Business management and economics at the Faculty of Management and Economics of the Tomas Bata University in Zlín. In her career, she first focused on human resources field, then proceeded to the higher education area. Currently she is an assistant professor at the Tomas Bata University in Zlín where she focuses her research on the financial management of small and medium enterprises, using IFRS for small and medium enterprises and its impact on their performance measurement. Associate professor Paseková participated in a number of scientific research projects, she was the head researcher of the Czech Science Foundation project, participated in international research projects supported by the International Association for Accounting Education and Research and took part in Socrates, Comenius and Leonardo da Vinci projects.

JUDr. Bystrík Šramel, PhD. JUDr. Bystrík Šramel, PhD. was awarded the degree of Juris Doctor at the Faculty of Law of the Pan-European University in Bratislava. He graduated from the doctoral degree programme at the same faculty in the field of Criminal Law. In his career, he has practiced law as well as actively participated in higher education sector, namely at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava and at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava.
He guarantees the module Administrative law sharing achievements from more than 90 scientific works he authored.

Mgr. Jiří Novosák, Ph.D. Mgr. Jiří Novosák, Ph.D. graduated from the doctoral degree programme of the Faculty of Science at the University of Ostrava in the subject area Environmental Geography. In his professional life, Dr. Novosák has worked mainly in the field of scientific research, as a researcher involved in several major projects and also in the area of higher education. Since 2006 he belongs among the academic staff of the Department of Regional Development, Public Sector Administration and Law at the Faculty of Management and Economics of the Tomas Bata University in Zlín.
He guarantees the module Dissertation thesis methodology consistently with his positions of researcher and creator of methodologies during his work on research projects funded by both the Czech Science Foundation and the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic.

Ing. Lenka Smékalová, Ph.D. Ing. Lenka Smékalová, Ph.D. was awarded the doctorate at the Faculty of Management and Economics at the Tomas Bata University in Zlín in the field of Economics and Management. Throughout her professional life, she worked mainly in the field of higher education, from 2012 as a lecturer of the Department of Regional Development, Public Sector Administration and Law at the Faculty of Management and Economics at the Tomas Bata University in Zlín.
She guarantees the module Public finances and budgets based on her long term scientific interest in the issues of public funding of regional development and entrepreneurship.

PhDr. Mgr. Petr Janíček PhDr. Mgr. Petr Janíček was awarded the degree of doctor at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava in the field of Public policy and public sector administration, his Master’s degree was awarded at the Palacký University Olomouc, Faculty of Law in the field of Law and Legal Science. Dr. Janíček has long been employed within the public sector administration, in the years 2011 – 2014 he was the director of the regional branch of Labour Office in Zlín, since 2014 he worked at the Tomas Bata University in Zlín.
He guarantees the module European Union law and public law which reflects both his education and his scientific interest in the issues of European Union cohesion policy and its impression in the area of employment.

Ing. Jana Nekolová Ing. Jana Nekolová holds Master’s degree in the field of Public Sector Administration and Regional Development awarded at the Faculty of Management and Economics, Tomas Bata University in Zlín. She participated in a number of projects both at and out of the Faculty (e.g. development projects of Moravian Silesian Region or city of Vsetín) and participated at creation of numerous strategic development documents (such as Strategy of Development of the Wallachian Open Air Museum in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm until 2023, Development Strategy of Zlín City until 2020, Analysis of Current Systems for Monitoring and Evaluation of Quality and Efficiency in Education II, Integrated Development Strategy of Local Action Group Dolnobřežansko and others). Currently, she is a member of the Department of Regional Development, Public Sector Administration and Law at the Faculty of Management and Economics at the Tomas Bata University in Zlín.
She is the lecturer of the module Project management since she is professionally oriented on the topic.

Ing. Milan Škarka, Ph.D., MBA Ing. Milan Škarka, Ph.D., MBA was awarded the degree of doctor in the field of Management and economics at the Faculty of Management and Economics of the Tomas Bata University in Zlín. He was also awarded the degree of Master of Business Administration at the Liverpool John Moores University. In his career, Dr. Škarka has worked in the private sector as a manager of several companies and also in the public sector as a director of Regional podpůrný zdroj, a company fully owned by the Zlín Region focused in entrepreneurship support. His scientific activities, much like his professional, focus in long term on the area of entrepreneurship support.
Considering his professional and scientific background, he teaches the module of Project management in the Master of Business Administration programme.

PhDr. Michal Lukáč, PhD. PhDr. Michal Lukáč, PhD. was awarded the doctoral degree at the Faculty of Mass Media Communication at the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava in the field of Mass Media Studies. During his career, Dr. Lukáš work for some time at various positions within the Slovak National Museum. However, since 2013 he has worked in the tertiary education sector, namely at the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava. Currently he holds the office of the Vice-Dean for teaching and learning processes at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava.
With regards to his academic achievements, professional and scientific focus, Dr. Lukáč guarantees the module Marketing and image of a public institution.

Ing. Livia Pekajová, Ph.D., MPA Ing. Livia Pekajová, Ph.D., MPA was awarded the doctoral title at the University of Ostrava, Faculty of Science in the field of Political and Cultural Geography. She was also awarded the title of Master in Public Administration at the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University. In her career, Dr. Pekajová focuses on the issues of European integration process, its propagation and coordination of related projects. Her scientific research is mostly concerned with the migration, especially the migration specifics of the Visegrad four countries.
Considering her extensive professional background as well as her education, Dr. Pekajová teaches the Public administration and political science module.

Ing . Filip Kučera Ing. Filip Kucera holds Master’s degree in the field of Public Sector Administration and Regional Development awarded at the Faculty ofManagement and Economics, Tomas Bata University in Zlín. He has been involved in the preparation and management of projects financed from EU structural and investment funds. Currently acting as the head of the project department of the Regional Development Agency of East Moravia and also worked on an internship at the European Parliament. He is a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Regional Development, Public Administration and Law Faculty of Management and Economics at Tomas Bata University. The object of his scientific interest is the concept of Smart City and the problems of cohesion policy of the European Union.

Prof. Ing. Ilja Vyskot, CSc. Prof. Ing. Ilja Vyskot, CSc. received his Ass. Prof. title in the studying programme Amelioration with specialization in Landscape Creation and Protection. In 2001, he obtained the professor title in the studying programme Landscape Creation and Protection. Prof. Vyskot has been engaged in tertiary education since 1979 as senior lecturer, as associate professor and finally as full professor. Prof. Vyskot's research focus is on sustainable development, and on landscape creation and protection considering economic aspects of these issues.

Prof. Ing. Petr Nemecek, DrSc. was awarded the degree of professor in the field of Industrial Economics at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Technical University in Brno. In his professional life, he worked in a number of private companies. Since 1986 he continuously operates in university education. From 2000 to 2014 he worked as a professor at the Faculty of Management and Economics at Tomas Bata University in Zlin. He is a professor at NEWTON College for nine years in a row. His research interests are focused mainly in management.
